Cheetahs vs humans. The debate continues

I would love to think that the re-introduction of cheetahs will happen, and that it will be successful.  The state of tiger conservation in India, however, doesn’t inspire one with too much confidence, I have to admit.

But I love the idea, and pray that it goes ahead.

Oh, and since the journalist didn’t follow through on the sanskrit connection, I wikipedia-ed it for you, and I quote – The word “cheetah” is derived from the Sanskrit word citrakayah, meaning “variegated body”
