So, in almost as many days, it is Technology 2 Christine 0.
The blog went off air for the last 2 days, but Himmat, bless him, damaged controlled from Chhachhrauli. Sitting on the farm, using his trusty old BSNL mobile, he called the people who host my website in Colorado , and sorted out the problem for me. Technology is quite amazing (when it works). So, sighs of relief all round, and here I am again, blogging from sunny, summery-feeling Delhi.

Am blogging from my bed in the Al Zahra clinic, in Sharjah, having had a double arthroscopy this morning. So far, so good, but that is possibly the medicines talking.
The Doscos have turned up trumps.
Kumud and Gautam are hosting us for a week, and even smiling whilst they do so. This morning Deepak Bhatia drove us from Dubai to Sharjah, and then operated on me.
I slept most of the afternoon, and now feel OK though still slightly spaced out. Himmat spent the day battling with the on-off dodgy [...]
